About MIRA Wellness Club

MIRA Wellness Club is a members-only wellness club opening in central Chennai in early 2027. Members get coached strength and conditioning training, in-house physiotherapy, a partner nutritionist and a café. There are separate recovery floors for women and men, each with a sauna and cold plunges.

Our members are busy professionals who want training, recovery and health care in one place. The service standard is closer to a fine hotel than a gym. Chennai is our first club. We plan to open in more Indian cities over the coming years.

The role

You build and lead physiotherapy at MIRA. Members book physiotherapy in our treatment rooms, and you set the standard for every session.

You are also the clinical voice of the club. When a new member reports a health concern, you decide whether they train, train with limits, or see a doctor first.

What you will do

Before opening

• Set up the physiotherapy service: assessments, treatment standards, records and the treatment-room schedule.
• Write the clinical screening rules for new members with the Head of Training.
• Hire the physiotherapy team with the founder.
• Help write the safety rules for the sauna and cold plunge floors.

After opening

• Treat members yourself for much of the week.
• Review health flags from new members and clear them, or refer them on.
• Lead and develop the physiotherapists.
• Work with coaches so a member's rehab and training plan never contradict each other.

Who we are looking for

• An MPT, or a BPT with strong post-graduate training in sports or musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
• 6 or more years of practice, including sports or orthopaedic work.
• Some experience leading or mentoring other physiotherapists.
• Calm and clear with members who expect a high standard of care.
• Fluent English.

We especially want to hear from women. Many of our women members will prefer a woman coach or therapist, and our women's recovery floor needs women on the team.

Pay

• Monthly pay ₹84K to ₹1.35L (cost to company), depending on experience.
• Performance bonus Tied to member outcomes and service quality.
